We stayed at the All Riviera Resort for 10 days at the end of Feb 2005. It was a nice and very clean hotel and having a fully operating refrigerator was essential. We were not overly impressed with the service. We were promised an upper level room (as an upgrade) as we were on our honeymoon. The staff spoke terrific English - except when we asked for our room upgrade. They did not follow through with their promise, which was a little frustrating. I would recommend the hotel based on its cleanliness and location, however, do not expect anything from them in terms of service. If you are looking for a place that is central to virtually everything in Playa then this is the place. The bus station is very close as well as the main taxi area. We aren't likely to return to Playa Del Carmen, as it was too busy and commercial for us, however, I think that it has a lot to offer for the right type of people. It is definitely a beautiful location with lots of day trip options! We highly recommend Isla Mujeres and the Hotel Casa Lima.

I stayed at the All Riviera Resort from the 9th Feb - 13 Feb 2004. What a lovely hotel, very friendly staff - great brekky's. Lovely rooms also. The hotel is so central, right on the beach and a short stroll to 5th avenue. Even though I'm so far away, if ever I am back in Playa - I will stay here.

We stayed at All Riviera Resort on January 22-25, 2004 and love it. The rooms and the staff were just awesome. We stayed at the Avalon Grand A/I in Cancun the first of the week and was not impressed at all. We then traveled down to Playa Del Carmen to the All Riviera and loved it. I have already referred two people to this hotel. I have been traveling down for 14 years and will return to the All Riviera.

We stayed at the All Riviera Resort in Playa del Carmen from December 27th - Jan 3rd...we were quite satisfied. First off, its location is wonderful. It is located right on the ocean and close to everything. Also, its beaches are some of the best due to the fact that no boats are anchored on it. We were able to get from our hotel to almost anywhere in Playa quickly and easily. The food is good and the staff is wonderful...ask for a server named Johnny or Pedro, they are both extremely helpful. We just got back to Minnesota 2 days ago and we are already wanting to go back. Sincerely, the All Riviera Resort is the best place to stay in Playa, reasonably priced and located near of the bus station, 5th Avenue and ferry to Cozumel.

My family and I stayed at All Riviera Resort last year and are planning on coming back every year. Rooms are nice and kept clean. The staff was very friendly. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Right on the beach and right in the middle of the 5th ave. this has become our favorite vacation spot and I am sure it will become that for all that visit.
