We just spent a week in Cancun at the Ambiance and everything went perfect. It is an older hotel and we are usually a little snooty about this, but the service at the hotel was fantastic, the beach was the best on the hotel zone, and the breakfast was great. We have 3 children and they loved the gentle waves that came in to the all white sand beach. The resort really has about the best beach in Cancun, and we walked up and down the strip most of the way. Also, we came during spring break, but we were not in the middle of partying college kids as the hotel is a bit off to one side and it was mostly all adults and families. I would not get the all inclusive, I do recommend you get the breakfast though.
