Blue Sky is a wonderful boutique hotel with AC, pool, beach and a gourmet restaurant With only 6 air conditioned beach front rooms, pool and lots of sand and blue water, this cozy little beach hotel could be the antidote for your urban anxiety. The Blue Sky hotel is located in tranquil Tankah Mexico on the Riviera Maya coast, roughly 70 miles south down the coastal highway from Cancun. If you are looking for a place to kick back and relax away from the crowds, and still not sacrifice your creature comforts, this is an excellent choice.

All the rooms are tastefully decorated with a Caribbean flair and have furnished patios or terraces that face the pool and sea. Master suites have one queen size bed and one queen sofa sleeper; Junior suites have one queen size bed and one double sofa sleeper, and standard guest rooms have one queen size bed. All have air conditioning, ceiling fans and mini fridges. During the day guest have access to a wireless internet connection in case you need to get online.

The hotel has a wonderful gourmet restaurant/bar offering fresh seafood specialties and Italian-international cuisine. This is some of the best food on the coast and very convenient for hotel guests.

Hotel is exactly as pictured on internet. We loved the facility and the food was the best we had anywhere on the weeklong trip. Only several minor drawbacks were that the manager's dog barked all night long, the pool was tough to keep clear and clean, and the AC was only situated on one-half of the master suite, so it was very tough to cool down.
