This was a Hell Hole. This place looked beautiful in the brochures but it was disgusting. The receptionists were so rude .The room we stayed in was full of lizards and other bugs, the toilet flooded our room out every day, there is no shop and no jet ski's actually there is nothing here except dirt, bugs and rude people. I can’t believe that this place is still being advertised!! We booked our holiday with Thompsons, they refused to move us, along with other couples we met. I booked this holiday for a special birthday treat for my partner, I expected paradise but it was far from it! When I arrived there I cried for 2 days because the place was a pit, and I had spent a lot of money to get there. WARNINGS please do not take a holiday in this place!!!

Wow what a real trash hole . The pictures are great. There is no MiniBar, and the cleaning lady is 12 years old, they put on the same sheets when they clean your room, the cleaning lady puts your dirty clothes back into to luggage. The Bartender is cool and if u wanna line or 2 he’s got it. The people at the front desk are not helpful , every time u need to go to the restroom, u need to go to the front desk and ask for toilet paper, they think their doing u a favor when they give u toilet paper and a towel. The rooms are just plain nasty, the water sometimes work. The rooms were hotter than a oven. We didn’t get our deposit back but I figured that, we left the cleaning lady a good mess to clean up. That was possibly the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed at. Just put it this way I hope the hurricane comes back to Mexico and knocks that hotel. Spring Break 2006 was a blast thow just the hotel was bad.

This hotel was a real grade "A" trash hole. I mean I'm talking the toilets were exploding and over flowing, not to mention the cock roaches that kept you company while taking a low-pressured shower. Other than the air conditioner dripping water constantly, the "one" spare key per room, the workers changing the lock on your door everyday, the expensive drinks that we had to pay for, the disgusting floors, and not getting our $500 deposit back, I guess you can say besides that, things weren't bad. They did have a nice outside area with a friendly bartender and you can't forget about the local prostitute that hangs out by the pool everyday. The hotel was definitely perfect for us, we were able to do whatever we want and trash the rooms as much as we wanted to. All in all, it made for some good memories that I won't forget.

We stopped at Cancun Marina Club in the summer of 04 and what can I say? The first room they gave us a king size bed for 3 girls and it smelt of damp. On the first night there was 6 in one room because they had no clean rooms. We made friends with all the bugs in our rooms and there was toilet juice that would come from the toilet. Luckily we got moved to a better hotel but if I were you I would NEVER book at the Marina Club. The pool was disgusting also.

We stayed at the Cancun Marina Club during Spring Break 2004. Be certain, it is not all it may appear. We chose this hotel trying to save a dollar, while still residing at a nice hotel. It was not worth it. We stayed seven nights, and after the first we spent a good portion of the rest of the week trying to relocate. The air conditioner did NOT work, the toilet didn't flush, minimal hot water (which turned out to be an advantage since the AC didn't work), no maid service, and clean towels was a daily fight. Every time we tried to complain or question something, suddenly no one knew English. There is definitely not a mini bar and the satellite TV consists of 4 channels all in Spanish. All in all, it was a place to lay our heads and we did not let it ruin our vacation. However, we do not recommend this location.
