Casa Romero is the grand dame of Akumal. As one of the first large homes on famous Yalku Lagoon, it's splendor is dramatic. This villa features much of the area's stone, both inside and out, dramatically off set with marble and wood. The floor plan is unique, with views of the Lagoon from every room.
Unusual to the region, this house has it's own yard. Lounge on the covered patio to view fabulous flora and fauna, entertained by the surrounding tropical sounds of the jungle. Walk down the path to your own private entrance to the Lagoon any time of the day or night.
For a truly unique Mayan experience, on a cooler winter night sit in the expansive lining room and start a fire in the only fireplace in Akumal.
Up the wide spiraling stairs, you will find two of the three air conditioned bedrooms. The master bed and bath are open, airy and spacious. The master bedroom has incredible views of Yalku Lagoon. The master bath is finished in pink beautiful marble, so cool and refreshing to the touch. Meander down the hall to the second bedroom for more spectacular views, both from the windows and the garden terrace. The third bedroom is ground level and very private. It sits behind the kitchen. It looks out across the manicured garden to it's own private inlet of the lagoon.
