We stayed in a cabana. Prices were great. Mattress was a bit hard, but loved the swings in the bar, beach, pool, courtyard, the kind staff, and the location. The place sold after we were there. I would have loved to have purchased the place. Ciao.

Stayed in the cabana at this hotel in April 04 - if you like bed bugs, hard bed, mold, dust laden ceiling fan, blaring techno dance music from Blue Parrot until 4am and competing Bob Marley CD on endless loop until 3am from Costa del Mar, and are 20 something with appetite for clubbing, this is your place! Otherwise overpriced for the dump you get in exchange. The Playa is small but rapidly developing with many cheaper, cleaner, quieter hotels close to Quinta Ave or the beach. The staff was friendly however.

Great little place! Totally clean and sufficient and you can't beat the price! Within walking distance to everything you need. I'd definitely stay again at the Costa del Mar.
