This is by far the best value in Rivera Maya! My family and I had a great 6-day trip in June 2004 at the Sunscape Tulum. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure everyone was having a great time all the time. This is not a party place so if you are looking for active nightlife, try another resort. The restaurants are all fabulous. The sushi was so fresh in the sushi bar that we went several times just for a snack. The outdoor Mexican restaurant had great grilled fish for lunch each day as well as burgers for the kids. The best part of the entire resort is the snorkeling right off the beach! I had trouble getting my family out of the water to eat. There is also a fresh water cenote you can jump in to cool off on the grounds right next to the pool. The rooms were large, comfortable, and clean. A perfect resort... I can't wait to return this year!

Sunscape Tulum is one of the finest that I have been in as long as you like simple Spanish style. The staff is so friendly and willing to do whatever it takes to please you. The beach is a little rough but beautiful. The horse back riding is great, one of the best I have been on. Just ask for Mario. He's a sweet heart.
