Maybe I was lucky but I strongly disagree with the people letting the negative review about the standard rooms. I was in El TuKan Condotel, condo 6 and my room had a kitchenette with fridge, and balcony with the view to the jungle. The room was very clean and the air conditioner was working good. It isn't noisy but close to every loud tourist places. In the 5-7 min walking distance is a very big supermarket (I think the name is MEGA), you can buy there everything for very good prices. In the morning they have fresh cut fruits to incredible price of less than 2$kg (1kg is more than 2lb), also you can buy fresh bread, croissants, etc. every time and prepare for you the sandwiches. The beach club, was some walk way away (7-10min) and you should be there at least at 9 if you would like to get umbrella. The towels and the beach club doesn't cost anything for the guests at this hotel. It was nice time and I'll come back for sure.
