Iberostar Cozumel is a luxurious all-inclusive resort located on the southwest coast of Cozumel directly on the beach near the island’s most famous tourist attraction, the "Palancar Reef," one of the world's largest coral reefs and a paradise for diving and other water sports. The hotel is approximately 20 minutes from the international airport of Cozumel.

The hotel is a perfect example of harmonious integration into the surrounding ecological environment. The hotel’s 300 elegant bungalow-styled guestrooms are divided into two-story buildings surrounded by lush and exuberant tropical gardens. All of the guestrooms feature air conditioning with ceiling fan, private bathrooms with shower and hairdryers, private terrace or balcony, satellite color TV with remote control, mini bar, direct-dial telephones and in-room safe deposit boxes.

Deluxe amenities include a spectacular pool area with separate kids area surrounded by palm trees and palapas, two restaurants and bars, a fitness center, a car and travel agency plus a shopping arcade. Our all inclusive program includes a daily activities program offering a variety of social and recreational activities plus nightly entertainment featuring live music and professional dances. In addition, the hotel features a five-star SCUBA PADI and SSI Dive Center offering optional dives for certified divers and certification course for beginners.

I would never stay at the Iberostar Cozumel again. The food was absolutely disgusting. We ended spending $40.00 a day on cab rides so we could go to town and eat. Definitely no 5 stars. The water was shut off for an afternoon so you couldn't use the bathrooms by the pool and the men’s bathroom had 2 inches of water on the floor. They let all the water out of the dive shop and flooded the beach so all of our stuff was ruined including our digital camera, plus someone stole our water shoes. And they didn't seem to care that we were unhappy. There is an awful smell, everywhere you turn especially by the tennis courts. Once the sun goes down the resort is dead, not much to do if there is only a couple of you. Bring cards! The 24 hrs snacks is like a tomato and some cheese that was sitting out all day. You can't even get a bun or a piece of bread in the evening. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
