Located 50 meters from the beach in the heart of Playa del Carmen, Hotel KinBe is set in a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Hotel Kinbe’, which in Mayan language means “the way to the sun,” is built in a typical Caribbean style with palapa rooftops and is set amidst beautiful tropical gardens. The hotel is built in three levels and features 19 guestrooms.

The wild and luxurious gardens give you a special sense of connection with nature while the panoramic terrace provides a breathtaking view of the crystal blue and turquoise waters of the Caribbean melting with the spectacular sunsets of the Yucatan.

The irregular shape of the Kinbe Hotel gives to each room its peculiarity that is why they offer three kinds of rooms. All of the rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fan and a private bathroom.

There are four types of rooms available:
Standard Room featuring Double bed
Executive Room featuring one King or two Double beds
Mini Suites most of which are divided in two levels with a wooden loft featuring King size bed upstairs and a small living room area downstairs with sofa bed.
Mini Suite Junior rooms are sunny and offer excellent privacy! Most are divided in two levels with a wooden loft featuring King size bed upstairs and a small living room area downstairs with sofa bed plus balcony and ocean view.

I stayed at KinBe in December 04. I liked the hotel. Great location: one block from the beach and just off 5th Avenue. Small, clean rooms, nice friendly staff. Would stay again next time.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were nice, safe (a/c) and within walking distance of almost everything. The only "bad" thing were the beds, hard as a rock. Hammock hooks would be a great idea for this excellent, inexpensive, friendly place to stay. Thank you Hotel KinBe!

Excellent staff & service for a very good price at Hotel KinBe. Stafania and the rest of the staff are very helpful in every way and provide excellent service. Rooms are very clean and the beach is only a short walk of 1 block. It may not be a palace resort but it makes for a romantic and very memorable vacation
