I went to Cancun in June of 07, the overall stay was pretty good considering I went with my senior class. Which meant they set us up with all of the other graduating seniors from all over the U.S. The only complaint I would have would be the cheap safe in the rooms, and the view in my room. The staff in general was pretty good about everything, but it helps a lot if you speak Spanish, not to mention a few perks such as dinner recommendations and extra towels. I would stay here again, but when I return for spring break in 2008, I am going to stay at another hotel, just for feel.

We stayed at the Krystal in May 2007 on our honeymoon. We got the all-inclusive package. The staff was very friendly; we never had any trouble getting service with the all-inclusive bracelets. They had a breakfast buffet every morning, but it had so much food to choose from that you didn't get sick of it. It was one of the only hotels that had a decent beach. The nightlife was all within walking distance. There were people that sold trips and activity packages right in the hotel. They do have people selling time-shares, but they were easy to avoid. The rooms were large, and yes a hard bed. The bathroom could have been better, but we didn't come to Cancun to hang out in the hotel room all day. We would definitely go back there again!

Krystal hotel was simply awesome. My family and I stayed here the first time we ever went to Cancun, our view of the ocean was gorgeous from the 7th floor room we stayed in. Friendly service, awesome pool. So incredibly close to the beautiful ocean. wow, it was amazing. Everything, (clubs, restaurants, 3-story mall!), was in walking distance. Awesome.

NH Krystal was the first hotel we stayed at in Cancun. We loved the location - never needed a taxi or bus. We have stayed there three times. If you want to see the town, and eat other places, I suggest the Krystal. It is not a huge resort - so I would not recommend the All Inclusive. I had no problem with the rooms, room service or view. We have always been completely satisfied.

We stayed at the NH Krystal in 2003 yes the beds are very hard but our room was very big and always clean. We had no problem getting towels and we always had wash cloths. We liked the service at the otside bar but the people at the front desk could have been nicer. The pools were great the beach very nice and it had a great location. If you go to the Shrimp Bucket say Hi to Tavo a great bartender!!!

My husband and I stayed at Krystal Cancun in November 2004. If you have a choice, you should stay elsewhere. We are usually really easy going, but we hated the place and people working there. We had the worst experience ever in Mexico. On the first night we arrived, the front desk woman put us in the room with NO VIEW. Not even the street view. There was this huge I-don't-know-what in front of the window covering the whole window. AND there was a half-dead cockroach on the floor. After some moment of grief, we went down to complain. WE had to pay extra $100 on top of what we had already paid in order to move to another room. The second room had a nice view of the ocean, but it was next to a huge generator or something that constantly made a horrible mechanical humming noise. You could hear the noise from down the hallway as we approached our room. I could go on forever, but you get the idea.

We stayed at the Krystal in July of 05 and were completely unhappy with the outlet. The service and the rooms were horrible. The room we were in was flooded with water coming in from the window, the light did not work properly, the sink and the shower head did not work, and the sockets were falling out of the walls. We complained five times about the condition of our room and were completely ignored. When we threatened to leave the hotel for a new one, they finally got us into a new room. The service was horrible. You can not get towels unless you catch housekeeping in the halls, don’t order room service unless you want to deal with the smell of old food because they will not return to pick up the trays even if they are put in the hallway.

Let's say I will try to focus on the positive. You are planning to go down to Cancun and have a good time with your wife. If the --Krystal Cancun-- is going to be a guaranteed good time, I don't know. I guess it all depends on your level of expectation. I had a couple of problems, which by the way, have been solved. I had problems with my credit card charges, but once I got a hold of the right people at the hotel, I got it solved. Amigo, the hotel itself isn't bad. I had an incredible ocean view room on the 6th floor. I’ll never forget that view. The pools are nice and the beach is so close that the waves almost splash against your windows when they roll in. Forget about Bud products. Corona and Dos Equis are the bomb. Take advantage of the --hora feliz-- (Happy Hour). You know, the good old --two for one-- deal. I think it starts at 2pm there. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and willing to help. Be careful with your valuables. Make sure you get a room with a safe and make use of it. Just don't loose the key or there will be a charge for it. The location is unbeatable. You'll be close to the hottest spots in the --Zona Hotelera-- (Hotel Zone). You'll have access to the best restaurants, shopping and lots of action day and night. However, do not expect the services of a 5 star, because that, this hotel is not. Be patient, have a good attitude and enjoy your time with your wife. You probably got a good deal for what you are getting. It was for me, the best price I could get at that hotel category. In any event, good luck to you, congratulations and have a great time.

I stayed at the Krystal Cancun for one night. First they checked me in and gave me a dirty room. I spent a couple of hours by the pool drinking a cold beer, which was nice. However, at check-out, I got charged twice for a one night stay. I disputed the double charge right there and then. The front desk assistant showed me proof of the second transaction being cancelled and I left. Now I am back in the States and see that wrongful charge is still there. The young receptionist had no idea of what she was doing and now I can't contact the hotel. Their phone number is not listed anywhere.

I purchased a time-share at the Krystal Cancun. After getting back to the states, I got on the Internet and saw some of the negative reviews on the hotel. I notified them that I was canceling the agreement within five business days, per their contract. They did not honor the contract and return my money. That was 3 months ago, and I'm now looking into legal action against them. They are not to be trusted.

My husband and I stayed at the NH Krystal, we loved the hotel, and we had a very Clean room Ocean View, clean everything everyday, sheets, and towels. What I didn't like were the merchants in the market, they were like vultures, and the taxi cab drivers steel from you, so be very careful!

Unfortunately I haven't got a good review for the Krystal Cancun: No beachside chairs and had to walk to beach, entertainment the same for 14 nights, food on buffets cold & repetitive, no a la carte at Krystal 2nd week only buffets, no afternoon snacks as promoted in brochure. First time at an all-inclusive, felt we had to go out and eat. Staff friendly, management so-so, location good/on bus route. We traveled as 4 (2 couples) none of us impressed by this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the Krystal Cancun and were very disappointed in the accommodations and service. We had upgraded to the club level only to be told there was not a room available upon our arrival. We did get an ocean view room that had a beautiful view. The air conditioner did not work very well in our room, we asked that it be looked at and was told it was fine. The knob on the thermostat fell off and was cracked, when I asked them to fix it, they put it back on by piecing the cover together. It was hilarious. The air barely cooled the room. We were better off opening the window at night. I can't imagine staying there in the summer! Everyday the maid would forget to leave towels, coffee cups or soap. We had to call to have the items brought up to us. The floor in our room was dirty when we arrived. The maid service was terrible. I would not take a bath in the tub, it was gross. The furniture had knobs missing on them. The outlet by the TV was missing the cover and I was afraid to use it. Yes, and they don't know what a washcloth is there. Probably would not go back to that hotel again. It was barely a 3 rating in my book.

The beds are so hard at the Krystal Cancun that my back hurt very morning. Either then that, I would recommend that hotel the most. I just love it. It is right by the beach and has all-you-can-eat shrimp.

NH Krystal Cancun has got to be the best hotel in the area! I was there November of 2003 with my sister and we had such a good time that we went back in February of 2004 and I am currently looking into going with my friends soon. The staff was great, very friendly, helpful and respectful. The service was terrific. I love how the pool is overlooking the ocean... it’s so beautiful. Keep up the good work... I can’t wait to go back! I would definitely say that this is a 5 star hotel. =)

Me and my 12 year old daughter stayed at Krystal Cancun for 1 week. I think it is one of the best hotels in the area. I am a very high class person, the only thing is you did have to ask for your own wash clothes, blow dryer, and iron at time of check in because, they been getting ripped off but other wise I know it is a 5 star hotel. To me it is right in the center of everything the staff was great make sure you get the all inclusive it is worth it, The food is great at all 4 of the restaurants NH Krystal is one of the best places to stay.

Compared to other hotels in this area, the Krystal Cancun were said to be the nicest. Word of advice: they don’t have washcloths. Bring your own. The rooms were very nice other then no air-conditioning in the hallways and lobby. Great location and views. It is right by all the great clubs.

Yes, the bed may be hard, but the NH Krystal Cancun was a wonderful place to stay! The service was wonderful; I had no worries of anything going missing. The location was the best part especially if you are a spring breaker. The hotel is located by the majority of the nightlife and a lot of the markets. The pool and beach were both very beautiful! All around I had a great time there.

We spent our honeymoon at the NH Krystal Cancun in Dec. 2000. We loved it. Excellent service, beautiful hotel and beach. Looking to visit again in the near future.

Krystal Cancun has the hardest bed I ever slept on! Normally a late sleeper, I saw every sunrise because the bed was so hard. The pool was beautiful with an invisible edge looking over the ocean. There is a very small island which barely stands above water within swimming distance for an adventurous strong swimmer where a variety of fish and snails reside, great snorkeling! The Krystal is in a great location for shopping and dining.

We just had our 3rd stay at the NH Krystal Cancun in May 2003. We love the hotel & the service. Very affordable/ great value. Great location...everything is near by. We would have a hard time staying somewhere else.

The beds are VERY hard and there is very little light in the bathroom... other than that the NH Krystal Cancun is a friendly affordable hotel. Get a krystal club room.
