Luna Maya is located close to beautiful Mayan Ruins, spectacular cenotes and the Sianka'n Biosphere Reserve. This charming, family-friendly hotel is located in a breath-taking setting, rich in tropical vegetation and with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea .

Peaceful and inviting, it offers the choice of two double-occupancy cabanas, two double occupancy rooms, three quadruple-occupancy rooms and a Suite with a private balcony and an ocean views (designed to maximize enjoyment of the exuberant natural beauty). All of the elegantly designed rooms have private bathroom with hot water, mosquito netting on the windows and over the beds, electricity from 7:00pm to 12:00am , ceiling fans and purified water. There is a security box to store valuables in the administration.

Luna Maya includes a full breakfast, an area for hammocks where you can enjoy spectacular views while you relax, read or drink your favorite cocktail at the Luna-Bar.

We stayed 7 nights with our two kids. Our room had a beautiful road view and it was very noisy. The water of the shower was salty. Electricity from 5 to 11 pm when it works. Some days they forgot to clean our room. The beach of this hotel is very small and dirty, they are not cleaning it. There are not enough sun chairs for all the clients, etc... Except the boss the employees are very friendly when they are working because from 11 to 5 pm there is nobody at the hotel therefore no services, drinks, food, etc.

This is a perfect place to stay, nice management, very nice breakfasts, in a wonderful location...no words.

I booked my stay at Luna Maya based on their beautiful, professional-looking web site. If they had spent as much money fixing up their rooms as they did on the web site, this might be a decent place to stay. It would also be nice if their business tactics were as professional as their advertising. The rooms don't measure up to the bright, cozy pictures on the net. Breakfast was served on chipped plates and cups. Management promised (in writing) to refund my money when I moved to a better place, but it appears that they lied....
