We stayed at the Maya Caribe back in Sept 05, I found everything to be great. The food was good the staff was great. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and never had a problem. They have guys that can take you out at night, I recommend that you go out with them, they really know what clubs to go to on what days. I would go there again in a heartbeat

WOW!!! My friend and I have just returned from Maya Caribe and I haven’t been to a better place, I’ve stayed at many hotels in Cancun including Oasis Viva 5*, however this hotel really tickles my fancy and the ants really tickled my fanny!! This did NOT bother me as I have always been at one with nature. I thoroughly reccomend this resort de bon voyage and I will be returning.

The setting of Maya Caribe hotel was great with lovely views of the sea and the pool. The food was adequate but not well protected from the flies. The reception staff were fairly unhelpful and we found the electrics in our room less than safe. Overall, great location, slightly dodgy hotel!

The hotel Maya Caribe is adequate; but what makes this a great place to stay are the people. We were there during Hurricane Emily. They took very good care of us and all the guests. We had everything we needed. We had the chance to eat here and at Dos Playas. The service was always excellent. We would go back anytime.

I have just come back to England from Cancun where I stayed at the Maya Caribe hotel. The food was terrible as were the drinks. The rooms were pleasant enough and were clean although there was not any fridge in the room. The gardens were nice and so was the pool area. I would advise going elsewhere.
