I just came back from Cancun, and the hotel we stayed at was just amazing. Nothing to complain about. The food was incredible, the service was incredible and I couldn't believe how clean the place was. I'm so glad we stayed at the Melia Turquesa and not anywhere else. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, there is something for everyone there. Go check it out, I’m sure you'll love it. I would go back there in a heart beat. Amazing job! Gracias!

We just came back from the Melia Turquesa (6/6/05 - 6/10/05) and we had a ball! It was really beautiful and the service was great. The staff was great - we did not feel we had to tip to get good service - but we did and the staff showed their appreciation - they work very hard. The food was good except for the Palapa Restaurant - we were disappointed and only ate there one night. Pay the extra 25 bucks for the ocean view - we were on the 8th floor and it was worth it. It was our anniversary so the first night there was a bottle of champagne in our room. It was also my husband's birthday - somehow they knew - so the second night we found a birthday cake waiting for us in our room! Took the bus to Market 28 and got some beautiful Mexican pottery for a steal - but they can be very aggressive - so stay away if you can't handle that. We highly recommend this hotel - don't listen to the negative comments - we're glad we didn't!

I stayed here with a group of friends from 3-5-04 to 3-12-04. The hotel Melia Turquesa was really beautiful. The service was great. We had the all-inclusive plan. I didn't really care for the food that much, but there was a huge selection. The staff treated me like royalty. We even had 2 of them drive us to a location for free. And the activities staff was awesome. They would come hang out with us at the clubs and I even learned how to salsa dance. All in all a wonderful hotel. I would stay there again!

Stayed at the Melia Turquesa 5/19-26/04. My best friend and I had the most amazing time... the all-inclusive deal was great - we ate, and drank as much as we want... we also got deals for the clubs, which was awesome! Can’t wait to go back, however, it is pretty pricey, which may be the only reason we choose another hotel... other than that, it's great, with great service, friendly people, good food, lovely pool, and gorgeous beach.

My boyfriend & I just spent one week at Cancun staying at Melia Turquesa. It was our first time in Cancun and the hotel certainly did facilitate in making our stay more enjoyable. Overall the hotel is very decent, by that I mean the room is spacious, the place is clean, the food is edible (pretty much similar to Princess Cruise and Royal Caribbean Cruise) and the staff is pleasant and helpful. One aspect I really like about the hotel is that they offer food 24/7, and one aspect I really don't like about the hotel is that the front desk staff don't speak English very well, and that sometimes make communication quite difficult. For those of you who are planning to stay here, there are two shopping malls near the hotel (w/i walking distance), and they don't close till 10pm. Have Fun :)

Just returned from Melia Turquesa Cancun thanksgiving 2004,place was great, food, drinks, hotel staff all great. Just one tip, remember that even though the all-inclusive includes tips, a little extra to the staff will sure go a long way in showing your appreciation, these people work hard for there money - a lot of people who complained were those that expected the staff to be there personal slaves - stayed 5 days and took $50.00 us dollars for tips - left tips for cleaning ladies, bus boys, bartenders and waitresses and bell boys – we were treated like royalty, because we showed our appreciation - can't wait to go back.

My husband and I spent one of the best weeks of our 30 years as a married couple at the Melia Turquesa Cacun resort. Everyone and everything was great. We were within walking distance to the mall. The food was very good. The swim up bar really neat and the staff very caring. The ocean view from the room was awesome and very romantic. We loved it! We met so many nice people and we plan on returning in 2005 with four other couples.

Me and my friend girl, Vanessa's first time in Cancun. The experience was awesome. The Melia Turquesa Cacun was a great start with a lasting impression. The service, food, room, the view, everything was perfect. We felt completely safe and comfortable being out of the US for the first time. We loved the staff there and everything was so clean. Highly recommend. Can't wait to return. I am telling all my friends. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Spend a week in the Melia Turquesa Cacun with my family and must say it was one of the better all-inclusive places I have been. Great food and great service. Would highly recommend this hotel. Also, we were three families vacationing in this hotel at the same time and we all had a great experience.

We spent a week at the Melia Turquesa Cacun in early January and everything was awesome. The service was unbelievable and everyone was so friendly. The food was good and the whole appearance of the resort was well above average. I highly recommend this place to anyone, families or couples!

I found the Melia Turquesa Cacun to be a wonderful place to stay. The food and service was great, except for the Hotel lobby bar. We found that it seemed our being there was not as welcome as other customers that didnt have a wrist band on. We would wait a long time before the Waitress would even acknowledge that we were there. The bar tender was good. As for the other bar and restaurants they were great. I would definintely come back and stay

Dont even think about it. I just got back from Melia Turquesa Cacun and this place is the worst. My room got broken into. The same room had a leak in the ceiling so it rained directly in the room and on the bed. When I asked the manager what was going to be done about it he explained that I should have known it could happen because it was rainy season. Not one manager took our concerns seriously. The food is not good either. I have stayed in Cancun before and this was by far the worst. Not recommended. Be Careful!!

Melia Turquesa Cacun is spectacular- beautiful marble lobby and room. Food was very fresh and varied each day. Nightly entertainment at both lobby bar and especially the Theatre was great. This place is heavenly. If you want a truly relaxing and pampered time you should come here.

I stayed at the Melia Turquesa Cacun and did the all-inclusive plan. I was thoroughly disappointed. The food was mediocre at best, you couldnt get a drink that didnt taste like kerosene, and the service was the worst. We would wait forever for even an acknowledgement that we were standing there. We did finally find out, even though the all inclusive included tips, if you tipped, the service improved from horrid to tolerable. Would not suggest this hotel if you are use to good service, good food and good drinks.
