I recently stayed at this hotel and was so disappointed in the services I received. I had a problem with our room, several in fact. As soon as we got into our hotel room we smelled a horrible smell, which turned out to be ant spray that ended up giving me a severe headache. We complained but were not given the option to change our room. I can go on and on but the long and short of it was that they obviously did not feel that we had been inconvenienced by all the problems. I just know that I don't like to go on vacation to RELAX, run into these types of problems and not get any decent customer service!

Loved the Omni. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We didn't do the all-inclusive, as we like to get out and explore. However, the food we had was very good. Great beach and not crowded. We will definitely go back.

Very overrated: no pool available for adults, all pools 3 ft deep. Paid for all-inclusive ocean view, was taken to lagoon view room, immediately corrected their (unintentional?) error. Food was good but redundant. Beach area good. Was really annoyed by people trying to sell vacation packages and time shares at ridiculous rates. All in all I'm not saying this is a bad hotel, but I would not return to this hotel. There are better, larger, more modern hotels that blow Omni away in Cancun.

This was a very inviting hotel. I thought that the staff made me feel like royalty. The food is great along with the numerous amounts of activities. Oh boy...were those spa days good :) We purchased a timeshare at the Omni Cancun and will be there every other year!

Omni Cancun is a beautiful hotel, just the right size - not too big. Friendly staff, great location on the strip. The ocean view rooms are worth the extra $.

We went on vacation last February (2004) to Cancun. There were 24 people ranging from 33 years old to 75 years old. For some people in our group, it was their first time including myself. We (all) had the time of our lives at the Omni Cancun. The rooms were spacious and clean. Every hotel employee was wonderful. We were treated like Royalty. I was scared the food would not be that good, it was delicious and the drinks were fantastic. I was also scared about the water, but I didn't get sick once, and I've got a sensitive stomach. We are planning to go back next year to the Omni Hotel.

I just came back 2 days ago from my Senior Trip 2004. The Omni Cancun was beautiful, as well as the pools, view, and beach!

Hoggish security personnel at Omni Cancun, with a penchant for selectively tormenting dark-skinned persons who are required to summarily prove that they are guests of the hotel (they never seem to do this with those of fairer complexion)
