My family and I just arrived from our very 4th vacation to Cancun (we where at Presidente Intercontinental Cancun in June 16 thru 26). It was simply great...we couldn't have picked a better hotel and beach combo. We got a great service we pay for breakfast, it was delicious. During our time in the beach and in the pool. Granted, service was not the fastest, but it was done within reasonable time and the snacks were great. All the staff treated us with utmost respect. This hotel is very close to all the good restaurants; the beach was simply to die for. From the palapas to the palm trees, to the hammocks...it was beautiful. It is no wonder why the locals pay to enjoy this exact beach. I will definitely pay to come again soon. I do recommend this hotel to family groups.

Sorry excuse for a hotel. Staff is rude to Americans. Did not clean rooms for the entire stay of trip. Hotel managers tried to charge for a loose screw on a window frame ($110.00) in two separate rooms. Also wanted to charge for cleaning of sheets $100.00! Something wrong with this picture? Money was stolen from room! Nothing was done about it! This trip was a high school senior trip and a lot of these kids were ripped off! I would never, ever recommend the Presidente Cancun to anyone not even my worst enemy! Please stay somewhere else.

Presidente InterContinental Cancun is extremely overrated! 3-star hotel no more! Staff is rude, rooms are awful, no balcony, no drinks and food in room rules. Only beach is good. Will never stay in it again.

Presidente InterContinental Cancun is unbelievably unbearable. The staff is very rude, we found a maintenance man hiding in our room at six in the morning. The rooms are always dirty none comes to clean them and the food and drinks are extremely expensive ($11.00 us for a extra small pizza and $6.00 us for a beer). Not worth the stay or the money spend. I highly recommend somewhere else.

The Presidente InterContinental Cancun is extremely overrated. The beds are too hard, the staff is rude and mainly caters to Spanish speaking customers, and the beach is not as good as on the main strip of hotel zone. This is not a 4-star hotel, no way.
