The resort is located in Corazone, Cancun’s resort area. 10 km/6.2 miles to downtown Cancun and 20 km/12.5 miles to the airport. Just a few steps to nightlife, shopping and fancy restaurants.

The hotel Riu Cancun has a 15-story main building and a 6-story annex building. This All Inclusive hotel offers four swimming pools (one for children), complimentary gym, sauna and jacuzzi, beauty salon and massages (additional charge), gift shop, disco, two conference rooms, terrace-solarium and sun umbrellas and towels by the pool area and on the beautiful sandy beach.

569 guestrooms with central air conditioning and ceiling fan, telephone, mini bar, liquor dispenser, in room safe, satellite TV, balcony or terrace with ocean view and bathroom with hairdryer. Suites additionally with adjoining living room available.

All inclusive services: All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) including Theme buffets and Grill-Steakhouse. Snacks until 2:00 a.m. Unlimited domestic and imported beverages until 2:00 a.m. Access to all bars within the Riu Resort. Minibar and liquor dispenser re-stocking.

This was an amazing hotel. We went with Thomson Platinum ,we were always well looked after by the staff at the hotel, the views were incredible from the balcony. The weather was very hot July 06. All the food was lovely, lot of choice. Had great nights out too. Will go back to Riu Cancun!!

My husband and I went to Riu Cancun hotel for our honeymoon in August of 2005 and we absolutely loved every minute of it. The only down fall was that we requested a king bed and got two doubles pushed together... for a honeymoon... ya, that didn't work so well *smiles* We are now booking our first anniversary trip and are going back to where we know we will have a great experience and be able to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Excellent hotel! We stayed at Riu Cancun for my 40th birthday, and enjoyed every second of it. I have read the reviews of the people who did not rate the hotel and service and all I can say is we had excellent service and did not have to tip every time we wanted a drink, a friendly smile was enough. And we never had to wait for the waiters to take our order, Food was fantastic, Hotel very clean, staff very friendly. We went September 05 I would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going to Cancun. We will definitely visit again.
