Riu Palace is a Grand Tourism Hotel with its elegant and luxurious decor in the typical style of the aristocratic Mexican haciendas or ranches, offers every comfort and is air conditioned throughout.

In the Mexican Street there is hairdresser’s, gym, souvenir shop, jeweler’s, medical service, etc. In the luxurious gardens, next to the beach, you will find an Italian restaurant, a Mexican restaurant, and all the swimming pool facilities.

Various architectural details heighten the beauty of the different rooms at the resort. All rooms have bath/WC, bidet, hairdryer, telephone, airconditioning, fan, mini bar, alcohol, dispenser, Sat-TV, safe, balcony or terrace. 

Entertainment program:

We arrived 2 days after Emily. As shown by Picture 1, she left something on the Riu beach as a reminder. This was our 3rd stay at the Palace during the past year. We're going back Labor Day weekend. Does that give you a good idea of how much we think of the hotel? Incidentally, we've stayed elsewhere in PDC, but the Riu Palace Playacar is our favorite.

Went to the Riu Palace Playacar with another couple and all I can say is that it lives up to its name of Palace. We were treated like Royalty. The staff was extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food is excellent, as was the accommodation and the surrounding area. We are going again next year, as we know we will not find anywhere to beat this hotel.

Just got back from 6 days at Riu Palace Playacar. It was one of my best vacations. Place is spotless. Nicely laid out and not too big. Good food, good service, great accommodations. Not one bad thing to say. I could have spent some extra time there. Best place is Playacar. Very classy and worth it. Other hotels seem noisy, not as clean and frankly too big.
