From Playa del Carmen, in the luxury development of Playacar, right beside a 18 hole golf course only 400 meters from the marvelous white sandy beach and surrounded by spacious tropical gardens. Its All Inclusive program offers a wide variety of national and international specialties in food and beverages, non motorized water sports, daytime/nighttime activities for adults and children.

Riu Tequila has 568 rooms distributed in 31 buildings of two floors each. All are equipped with two double beds, mini bar, satellite TV, safe deposit box, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, telephone and balcony.

* Ping-Pong, work out, volleyball, gym, 1 introductory scuba diving lesson in the pool, 2 lighted hard-surface tennis courts, 1 multi-purpose sports court, * Windsurfing, sailing, kayaks, body board and snorkel gear (at Riu Yucatan water sports center).

* Daytime entertainment program for adults and for children from 4 to 12 years of age (seven times a week), * Shows (several times a week), * Riu Evening Program (five times a week) Entrance and drinks at "La Piñata" Disco (open every night) and at "La Espuela" Disco (Riu Yucatan, open 6 nights a week)

We were at this hotel summer 2005 for 3 weeks, we had a great time; we even experienced a 2nd hurricane here. I must say staff was excellent; everything was up and running in a few days. So good we’re going back this year for 2 weeks in august. We all can’t wait.
