Our first trip to Cancun was 2001 ... we were so impressed with the Royal Sands that we bought a week there and have been going ever since. It is paradise, pure and simple. It is our second home! All staff and employees are like family! We also purchased a week at the Royal Hacienda so now we'll be spending 2 weeks every year at the Royals in Cancun!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

While it was my first time in Cancun, I still had quite high expectations and the experience just blew my mind! The hotel Royal Sands itself looked brand new, and our suite was awesome. I was more than a little happy that our balcony was enormous (and had high railings.....which is good because sometimes we got a little too drunk out there). My only complaints would be lack of air conditioning and the fact that the maids only cleaned every 3 days.

Van ride from airport, market and veranda restaurant with the best buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bandstand restaurant at front of Royal Sands serves excellent food, I like the salmon dinners and well mannered waiters. The pools are super with swim up bars with 2 for one prices at 5 pm. The beach sand with palapas, drinks and 85 degree waves makes this place super.

This is one of the best places you could ever visit. Every comment I read I felt it didn’t do it justice. Just like mine wont either. If you ever take advice from a stranger take mine, the Royal Sands is a magnificent, beautiful and wonderful place. I can't wait to go back this summer. It truly is paradise.

We've stayed at the Royal Sands Cancun 3 times, and the staff is absolutely the best. The scenery and beach are gorgeous. And the food and variety of food is top shelf. Lots of security and anything you'd ever need will be brought to you in moments. Very highly recommended!

Royal Sands is one of the prettiest places in Cancun. The staff took very good care of us, especially my daughter. The scenery was beautiful & breathtaking. I would suggest this place this resort to anybody who wanted to travel to Cancun!

Royal Sands was a really, really nice resort, but it is definitely NOT for Spring Breakers. Stay at the Oasis if you want to party. Other than that, it was awesome!

I am @ the Royal Sands right now... the beach is great (except my family and I came on a bad week because there were riptides this morning and it has been a little cloudy the past 3 days weve been here) the staff is so friendly... the resort is close to a lot of things...I feel so safe because right now it is 9:53 PM and there are security guards outside on the beach watching for people and making sure that people dont wonder out into the ocean, they are on call 24/7. One of the only bad things that I can think of is that it is very big (we got lost our first night here it took us a half our just to find our villa). I have been to Cancun 2 times this is my second and I wish we would have chosen the Royal Sands the 1st time around.
