The Royal Sands Resort & Spa is located on a spectacular white sand beach, and only 15 minutes from Cancun's International Airport. It features 340 deluxe rooms and 340 suites.

La Veranda restaurant offers either poolside or indoor seating, sumptuous breakfast buffet, extensive lunch and dinner menus. Saturday night is prime rib night and Friday night features pasta and seafood. There is live piano music every night but Tuesday.

Amenities include: Sports center offering tennis and snorkel equipment, beach towels, board games, activities program for adults and children, water sports, water aerobics, full service spa and gym, restaurant, Lobby and pool bars, and much more.

Other services: Complimentary shuttle between the 5 Royal Resorts in Cancun, on-call doctor 24 hrs, grocery store, maid service, business center with Internet, fax and copying services, laundry.

Deluxe rooms feature : Air conditioning, telephone, full bathroom, Color TV., two double beds. Maximum occupancy 2 adults and one infant under age 2. Minimum stay is 3 nights. Cancellations made 30 days or less before arrival have no refund. No shows have no refund.

Our first trip to Cancun was 2001 ... we were so impressed with the Royal Sands that we bought a week there and have been going ever since. It is paradise, pure and simple. It is our second home! All staff and employees are like family! We also purchased a week at the Royal Hacienda so now we'll be spending 2 weeks every year at the Royals in Cancun!!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

While it was my first time in Cancun, I still had quite high expectations and the experience just blew my mind! The hotel Royal Sands itself looked brand new, and our suite was awesome. I was more than a little happy that our balcony was enormous (and had high railings.....which is good because sometimes we got a little too drunk out there). My only complaints would be lack of air conditioning and the fact that the maids only cleaned every 3 days.

Van ride from airport, market and veranda restaurant with the best buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bandstand restaurant at front of Royal Sands serves excellent food, I like the salmon dinners and well mannered waiters. The pools are super with swim up bars with 2 for one prices at 5 pm. The beach sand with palapas, drinks and 85 degree waves makes this place super.
