I honestly had one of the nicest and most relaxing vacation experiences at Shangri La Caribe. The staff was so friendly, the dive shop expert and accommodating, and the beach was one of the nicest in the area. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Playa del Carmen.

We stayed at the ShangriLa Caribe for 4 nights in May. We planned to finish our Yucatan trip with a few days of relaxing. This is an ideal place for it, great beach, excellent staff. It was just a perfect end. :-)

ShangriLa Caribe is a great place to stay. Regular diner, great breakfast, good cleaning, friendly receptionists and very nice working people. It is really like the brochure !!

ShangriLa Caribe is a warm wonderful friendly place... great food... great place to take the kids... clean rooms... a really worthwhile place to stay.
