Man.. Sun Palace is awesome. The staff is really nice. I just came back (2005) and I will be back again. Don’t listen to comments that the staff is bad, and there is 2 elevators in floors 6 up. In fact you should stay in a high floor because there is no jacuzzi's on the low floors the higher the better. There’s room service at any time. Don’t miss the Hollywood show, it’s great. My sister even got a crush on William the benboy or whatever that’s called. It is great!

Sun Palace is an all-inclusive resort. It is small compared to the other resorts in Cancun, giving it a bit more 'home-y' feeling. The staff is great and friendly and all is well until you complain about anything. They will listen and take notes, but no action. We reported a $20us rip-off attempt by a taxi (number 998) to the hotel service desk. They promised us a follow-up, but none came. We reported a problem to one of the managers (Taynia), with an activity booked with the tour operator in the hotel lobby (Chaza Travel). Again no help from the hotel to resolve the issue. If you go to this hotel, make sure you get a room on floor 5 or lower. The floors 6-8 are serviced by 1 elevator only! The same elevator services floors 0-5, but there are 2 more elevators for those floors. The 4th elevator is reserved for the hotel staff. Food is decent, but not outstanding. For a good meal head into town.

We were at the Sun Palace in May 2004 and will be there again May 2005. This was our first trip to Cancun and had a great time. We would rate it an A+. The staff is the greatest. If you don't have a good time here... you should have stayed home!

The Sun Palace Cancun is an excellent hotel. The people were extremely friendly. Food was wonderful. All-inclusive plan is the only way to go. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

I spent the best week of my life at this amazing hotel. The staff here where wonderful, and made our stay superb!! If you have an opportunity to stay at the Sun Palace Cancun, DO IT! I was even lucky enough to engage my beautiful wife on a tour atop the Mayan pyramid, arranged by the Sun Palace.
