Great place to stay, especially if you have children. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Alex, Cesar and Johnny are great. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Hotel very clean and food excellent.

Sunset Lagoon is an excellent hotel and very clean. Great variety of food and drinks. The inpool bar was super and very handy. 5 star service and friendly and helpful staff. The marina beside was fantastic and had a good choice of activities to do. And the non motorized sports available from the hotel were always something to do. Thank you for a great holiday. One we'll always remember. And hopefully one day visit again.

How could anyone say this is the worst hotel they've ever stayed at, must be because they haven't traveled as much as I have. I like the Sunset Lagoon a lot... who cares if it's laid back at all. It's a fun experience so make it a good old time! You must try this one it is awesome!

The hotel Sunset Lagoon was clean, the food was great and the staff was exceptional. It is very laid back, a great place for a family or for someone who wants to relax. All you have to do is ask and it will be yours. I found it unique from other hotels in Mexico, it was refreshingly original!

I love this place. Extremely laid back & relaxing. The staff absolutely make this resort. The all inclusive in the suites is the way to go. Our room faced the lagoon & the sunset was incredible. This will be our 4th year staying at the Sunset Lagoon. Even if the staff does not remember our family, they act like they do & that's super cool.

We loved this hotel. Not the nicest we've stayed at but the staff was very friendly, the food was good and it was very laid back which is what we were looking for. The rooms were clean and very large. We will be back to Sunset Lagoon.

Where did they get 4 stars? Sunset Lagoon is a 1 star at most. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and this one is the worst. This is a motel at best. How anybody would have a good comment about this hotel is beyond me. Bad service. Bad food. Bad rooms. And watch out for the $10.00 fee when you check out. Even the locals know it’s a bad place to stay.

Staff friendly, accommodations good at Sunset Lagoon. I have been to many resorts in Cancun, this one is not the nicest but was more laid back than other ones I've stayed at which was what I was looking for. As in most resorts the staff is VERY friendly and quick to help with any needs you may have. Most people are upset that they try and sell you a time-share but this is what most resorts are all about and if you can't deal with that you should select another vacation destination.

Sunset Lagoon is one I would never stay at again. They wanted to sell you a time share more than anything else. The rooms are not clean else you ask or wait until 3-4 p.m. daily. Our conformation on the rooms were not right and they didnt want to get us a different room. Dont stay Here!!

I stayed at Sunset Lagoon last Dec. This hotel is very nice because the room is clean, the staff is very kind and has good response for my request. Especially all inclusive plan is wonderful for the people who would like to drink, eat and play without any mention about money. I really recommend you this hotel.
