An excellent All Inclusive resort rated 4 Stars for adults only. Formerly the Blue Bay Getaway Resort, is located on the beach right in the north hotel zone of Cancun. It predecessor resort, Playa Blanca, was the first resort structure built in the hotel zone in the late 1970s when Cancun was born. The present resort faces northward toward the Mexican Caribbean.

The hotel features 220 rooms surrounded with lush gardens and on the beach. All rooms have air conditioning, terrace or balcony, 2 double beds or 1 King size bed, satellite TV, bathroom with shower.

The extensive activities program make it one of the most popular All Inclusive resorts of Cancun. Includes Theme nights, unlimited national drinks, Gym, Aerobics classes, free diving lessons, non motorized water sports, game room with pool tables, bikes, free transport by boat and by bus to the Blue Bay Club & Marina, Discotheque, tennis courts.

There are six restaurants: an Italian dining restaurant, an Oriental themed restaurant, a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus a beachside snack bar. Theme dinners at night lend some variety to the evening meal occasion. There are also a steakhouse and a Mexican restaurant on site, too.

Holidays are over but I still decided to take three more days , to relax and let me tell u that I enjoyed every minute of it , sure there is a lot of partying around in this hotel , but hey , live and let live, if u want to join the fun, sexy, and a little x rated games, go ahead, but if not , they won’t disturb you at all .. As you are told on the front desk, there is a sexy pool, were everything happens, and a quiet pool, where u can have a drink, read a book, and enjoy life at its fullest! Also, this is an excellent place to relax, have a nice dinner in their specialty restaurants (not that the other are bad or anything), that can include fine wines, delicious seafood, everything u can expect and more for what u paid. I had a marvelous time by myself, and now I am ready to go back to work, but will surely return as soon as I can.

Me and my boyfriend went there in 2005 had a wonderful time, enjoyed everything about the hotel. We got back home few weeks later we found out we were having a beautiful baby boy, got a little crazy at times while we were there. We are going back sept 21 2007. We got married and our son will be 2 soon. People were so nice there, great service, and very beautiful there. We got to say at least try it once.

My wife and I are rating specialist for hotel, motel and resorts. We have been to this property a couple of times over the past years, and although we found it not to be a five star resort, found the accommodations, food, entertainment and most other accommodations to be well above average based on the "PRICE YOU PAY TO PLAY". We have had both good rooms as well as not so good. Great food as well as blah. But, dollar for dollar, the money we have been allotted for trips to various resorts has by far gone much further at this resort than at others of the same classification. We are going there again around the end of the first week in June to see in what regards the resort has changed either for the good or bad and will report to everyone on the changes.
