I would recommend this hotel for someone who is on a tight budget, and is willing to walk down the street to piers to be picked up by your dive operator. The cheaper rooms are in the building to the left as you enter the complex. Better rooms they display are in separate building to the right. You get a butter/toast/muffin/jelly breakfast, if you want to call it that. Can pay extra for eggs, etc. everything has a price! Lastly, my advice is to be carefully when renting scooters! Front Desk has a go to guy for renting scooters, but they will try to get you to always pay in CASH. These things will scoot right out of under you, which is what happen to me in the middle of town. I laid my scooter down on it's side and it ended up costing me an extra $210.00 for the damage, rip-off? Rent a car at the Airport online prior to arrival is a lot cheaper.

We had a great time here, although the location isn't exactly beachfront, more like street front. Though you do get a nice view of the Caribbean Sea. The staff was very pleasant and helpful during our stay. Upon checkout however, the front desk woman tried swindle us for an extra payment in cash. We told her that we had paid in advance via credit card, and presented our receipt. She shook her head, and said that she did not think that the room had yet been paid for, and suggested that we pay in cash in order to avoid the tax charge. All was fine in the end though; always carry your receipts of payment!

We stayed at VillaBlanca Garden Beach in OCT. 2005 LOVED THE ATMOSPHERE. They were very helpful and helped us get our rental car and everything. Food was great at the motel and across the street. Would strongly recommend to stay there.
