Xbalamque is one of the best hotels in downtown, close to stores, restaurants and bars. Only 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the hotel zone.

The hotel offers facilities for you to enjoy Cancun's beautiful beaches, only 10 minutes from the hotel, where you will find a bar and shade umbrellas, lounge chairs, showers, etc. Restaurants & Bars: Fountain view of our restaurant Los Equipales, where you can taste Mexico's finest cuisine.

Also the specialty restaurant Tierra Maya, open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. Bar Lahash is open from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am, featuring live music. Have a massage at the Natural Clinic or work out at the Gym. In the afternoon you can have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee watching local art in "El Pabilo", a nice spot which features art exhibitions and live music.

I have stayed at the Xbalamque Cancun for the past 3 years and this is definitely a wonderful hotel. The staff is very helpful and the hotel is always nice and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cancun and who would like to experience the "real" Mexican ways. I will be back!

On a one-night leg of a trip to Cozumel, we found Xbalamque Cancun fairly impressive for the amazingly low price. Mostly Europeans and upper class Mexican clientele, we hardly saw any Americans. How refreshing for overly Americanized Cancun. Really nice decor, artwork, great tile work & clean. Only down point was the bed sheets were (cheap) extraordinarily scratchy poly/cotton mixes. The spa was terrific. I had the best leg/foot massage in my life for very road weary swollen feet/legs. Really nice people in the spa sincerely interested in our comfort and wellness. Would definitely stay here again!

I would highly recommend Xbalamque Cancun to those people who want to explore Cancun and not to spend a lot of money. Xbalamque Hotel is nicely decorated and very clean. I am completely satisfied!
